I'm there too, can't wait to see how Florida differs from Universal Hollywood. (other than more space)
If we get there early enough, might it be worth it to valet park? $35/ car split 4-5 ways...? Convenient as heck.
Was looking at USF info online... I'd even add $10 to my share of the valet split to get the Red Carpet service...
Another thing to consider is the fact that Universal is not as camera friendly regarding the rides as Disney. So it would be helpful to pack fairly light so that you don't have to constantly put your bags in and out of lockers. For rides that offer child swap, we can always do "bags swap" where somebody sits and watches the bags while others go on the ride.
I doubt I will be riding many (if any) of the rides, but would at least walk thru queues with the group, so I'd be able to hold onto a couple of bags.
Both of the big Harry Potter rides (Gringotts and Forbidden Journey) offer queue walk-throughs. Men in Black offers a tour of the immigration room. Twister also offers a tour. I'd love to do all four.
