Okay, it’s about that time again... However, things are not as simple as a couple of years ago. Here’s the situation. I priced out the cost of the shirt and would need a “commitment to purchase” prior to proceeding (due to potential costs). The basics... - a surprise piece of artwork on the front of a white (or light colored) tee (printed in full color directly on to the shirt) with text on the back (in vinyl). The cost... @ 10 Shirts, cost would be about $30/shirt - I am estimating this price off the actual cost of the shirt (with printing) and then splitting the majority of the cost of the artwork commission (of which I am guessing on the price based on previous art purchased from my friend Adam). Anyway, let me know what you think. I would be looking for at least 9 other shirts (then add myself) in order to go forward with this. Pre-Order so far... (per post replies) 1) Jeffrey 2) Dennis (Med) 3) Tim (Lrg) 4) Nancy K (Lrg) 5) OG Gary (2XL) 6) John (XL) 7) Joanie (XL) 8) NG Gary (XL) 9) 10) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I figure I need to proceed by mid July (so a couple weeks off) if there are enough of “us” wanting a shirt... at that time, if there are not 10 shirts “ordered” I’ll ask if a slightly higher price is ok and go from there... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Pin drop reference is to an imaginary app that was being developed and discussed at the last Pixelmania. Essentially you could download an imaginary App on your phone that would keep track of every place that you went #2. Pixelmaniacs are capable of debating the merits of everything so conversations took place on the rules of this "App". For example: could you drop multiple pins if you used the same bathroom. My favorite was the debate about how if you were on a plane where would you drop the pin? At the gate of your departure, the airport that you landed at or would you guess where you were in mid air and drop your pin there. It's goofy stuff like this that makes hanging out together fun. ~Joanie
Sigh.... Well I guess you can put me down for a t-shirt. I'm afraid, I'm very afraid of what this t-shirt will look like and where we will be wearing it. Nevermind what we might do while wearing it.... I'm thinking that this t-shirt is not going to be on the mom approved list and that John will not be wearing it to school when he gets back from the trip. Part of my reluctance is that I have a closet full of t-shirts that is one one t-shirt away from qualifying for the next episode of that hoarders show. What the hell, put me down for a XL. ~Joanie
The good thing is that this will be so low key that only those in on the reference will understand it... trust me... have I ever steered anyone wrong with one of my shirt designs? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
