Based on what I am seeing? Ft. Wilderness may be the best choice to be as far from Kindani as possible.
How is Frontier to fly with? Allegiant doesn’t fly into Orlando? I usually fly Southwest but the December booking doesn’t open up till April.
Allegiant flies into Sanford and Tampa-St. Pete (if getting a rental car they are close to the same drive time +/- 15 minutes or so). As for Frontier, I’ve not had a problem in the past, but my last flight with them was in 2015 (just prior to them leaving the area). I’ll know more after my trip in a few weeks. The nice thing about them (like allegiant) is that it’s a non-stop flight. The downside (like allegiant) is that they only fly three days each week and only one flight each day. So you’re kinda at the mercy of the airline if any inclement weather hits (as well as your resort booking days). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I know, right... currently my flight down is okay as I fly out around 8:30am. The bad part is that my flight home is at 6am (which means I head to the airport on DME at 3am). On Allegiant it’s the flip. The flights are usually late afternoon/early eve. While it’s nice not having to wake up early to catch a flight, it also means you don’t get to Disney until 9/10pm at night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That’s early. I try to arrive as early as possible and leave later. Next month it’s departing at 6:30am and arriving at 12:30p(changing planes in Atlanta), departing at 2:40p and getting into Detroit at 9:20pm(2 stops, only one plane change), I hate leaving any later, then I’m getting into Detroit almost midnight, Detroit is 2 hours away, so staying at a Park&Stay the night before.
Whooops, haven't checked in. For now I am booked at the Art of Animation from 12/1 to 12/8. Subject to change.
Not sure how I missed this thread but Gillian and are currently booked with the other Riff-Raff at Kidani for December 1-9.
Update for me: After checking out from Pop on 12/10, I'm moving up the street to Cabana Bay for 12/10-14.
Looks like I’m moving to Florida (kinda)... I bought my airfare the other day and have my travel dates set. For all intents and purposes, I’ll be on Disney Resort property on November 21st (All-Star Sports) before moving to Kidani on the 28th (airfare on Thanksgiving Day was 4x higher than the rest of the month). I’ll be flying back home on December 12th. Officially, I fly into Orlando on 11/7 for a Disney Cruise with some local friends, then will be staying at Bonnet Creek for a few days (prior to All-Star Sports). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
