The pretzels at Tortuga were outstanding! Got in line 3 times for those Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No cheese in the pretzel. This was from the first party on the 8th of this month, quick trip down to see Amanda for Teachers Convention.
So these are like fresh baked Philly soft pretzels?? Please do a Food Network like assessment of these pretzels. Much like a Vampire lusts for blood, I have a weakness for a good pretzel. It's part of my Philadelphia German heritage. Fun fact: the tri-state area (Pa. NJ. and Delaware) consume approximately 70% of the pretzels in the US. ~J
Well, I can say that they were all hot, as making many of these would make one think they would be precooked and warmed (usually unsuccessfully). They were well salted, which is a must for me. They we also cooked, not a 80% cooked and still doughy. It was the perfect treat for a cold (Florida cold) rainy night!
This is how bad of a pretzel fiend I am, I know for a fact that Disney gets their soft pretzels from a company called Super Pretzel which is in Pennsylvania. So, yes, they are all pre-made and reheated. Not bad for a frozen pretzel. The fact that Disney is charging people $7.50 for one is obnoxiously obscene overpricing!
I loved Super Pretzel as a kid!! Is there something (other than the stickers given out at DVC kiosks) at WDW that is NOT overpriced?
Well so far the busses, boat transportation, and Monorail are free. Though I shouldn't mention it or they might realize they're missing out on a potential fleecing and start charging!
Well, one would say that those are paid for by your hotel reservation. But they are available to people not staying on property, therefor they are free to some.
The park hours have started changing: December 5, 2019 Epcot opens one hour earlier, EMH from 7 - 8 am, park hours 8 am - 9:30 pm DHS adds an hour at both ends, now open 8 am - 10 pm AK opens one hour earlier and adds EMH from 7 - 8 am, park hours 8 am - 8 pm None of this will affect us since we'll be at MK all day. It will be interesting if the rest of the week sees similar changes. And I can hear @mSummers swearing because the brochures are now out of date.
