so i'm at my grandpa's house today, just chilling with pops, his scanner kicks out an alarm for greenport, signal 13, 114 north street, now that's a structure alarm, it's 4 blocks away, and i know the owner, about 2 minutes later we hear the first greenport chief signal 20, on scene, and immediately radio to tone out signal 13-35, that's a working structure, with automatic mutual aid for southold , 1 engine to the scene with Rapid Intervention Team, cutchogue RIT to the scene, east marion engine to cover the greenport main house, and mind you the engine and heavy rescue haven't even left the substation 2 blocks from pops yet, so i figure it's about time to take a walk over there, below is one of the first i got before the police chased me back behind the yellow tape first due engine crew on the right side is just getting ready to make entry, ladder truck is off to my right still dropping the outriggers and getting ready to go down the side along the roof edge on the right, no one was injured, all occupants got out as soon as they heard their smoke alarm
