Sadly, the Syracuse Crunch season ended a bit (er, lot) sooner than most of us fans thought. Nevertheless, here are my favorite photos from the second half of the season as I look back on what really was a very good season for the Crunch. Starting with an on ice official who got some air. I like this one for its perspective and flying ice chips. While the Nikon 18-140mm DX lens is not a sports lens, the D500 makes up for it with fast focusing and high ISO capability. The State-of-the-Art LED lighting in the War Memorial helps, too. Reach for the Puck by Scott Thomas, on Flickr
