Three things Disney related that I would like you to know about me.

    1. ; I have been to Disney World three times in the last 4 years. ; Once 9 months after DH and I met, then a year and a half later and just this past May for our honeymoon.

    2. ; My earliest memory of a movie theatre is when my Dad took us to see Bambi and I bawled my eyes out when Bambi's mom died. ; I couldn't have been any older than 4 or 5 at the time.

    3. ; The first time I went to MK and seen the Disney characters perform at Cinderella's castle, I cried. ; I never thought in a million years I would ever be in Disney World. ; Then I remember feeling my DH (boyfriend at the time) arms around me and knowing we would be at Disney many more times.

Three things about me that are Disney related:

    1) ; DH and I just spent our Honeymoon there, from Sept. 9-16, 2006. ; This is our third trip in the past two years.

    2) ; The first Disney movie I saw was 101 Dalmations, and it was at the theatre. ; And, I remember that I ate so much popcorn that I had to go to the restroom and throw up... gross.. ; :-\

    3) ; My life is Disney Travel absorbed... even my Shih Tzu has a WDW t-shirt. ; I also get way too excited when I see people out and about with Disney antenna toppers.

Your doggie must look so cute in his shirt.

We got a Canada mickey head antenna topper. ; I love it!! ; It makes our car a bit easier to find in the parking lots too.

Not sure how I missed this thread the first time...

    3 Disney-related things about me....

1/ ; I seem to always manage to hit the resorts right before a big overhaul... the first time I went, the hotel we stayed at was just gearing up for a remodel... when we went for our Honeymoon we stayed at the Contemporary that then started a complete refurbishment program... this last time we stayed at AKL, which they've just announced is going to be the site of a new DVC

2/ ; We've taken a truly amazing amount of pictures at Disney... and somehow managed not to get a single character shot ; ??? ; Very strange

3/ ; My favourite spot is just entering the France area of Epcot because you can see the Eiffel Tower and it reminds me of when DH proposed... at a different replica of the Tower *laugh*

And a 'freebie'.... DH and I rode Expedition Everest before it's Grand Opening.

    Hmmmmmmmmm.....

    1) I cried when we went to the rope drop at Magic Kingdom (but so did my wife).

    2) I didn't want to go to WDW... ; now I can't get enough of all-things Disney!

    3) I rode my very first roller coaster at MK... it was Space Mountain with my 10 year old daughter.

    1. ; On my first trip to DW in 76 ... the choices were DW or PEI or Montreal Olympics ... Disney won hands down! ; ;D
    2. ; My daughter (3 at the time) slept through Epcot's Illuminations! ; She woke up back at the hotel and cried because she missed them. The next night she stayed awake and loved them. ; :D
    3. ; Space Mountain was my very first roller coaster in 76. ; Now you can't get me off of them! ; Thanks Disney ; :)

Space Mountain was my first roller coaster too. ; Liked it but thought it was way too short.

I can't imagine anyone sleeping through illuminations! ; That is crazy, but I guess if you had a long day at WDW at age 3, she probably was really sleepy.

Neither could I ... She fell asleep about 10 minutes before they started... Slept on the walk back to the buses ; .. Slept on the bus... Slept on the walk to the room and woke up when I put her to bed. ; She fell back to sleep after about a few minute cry. ; The next night, she started to get tired, so I started singing songs to her! ; I had the whole crowd around me singing! ; It was a blast! ; She did stay awake though!
