Great looking stuff Tim. Even though I don't think I will be able to make it for Pixelmania, I keep watching the threads & trying to figure out how I could make this work.
You should always use a remote shutter release (or timer) for tripod shooting. ; Pressing the shutter on the camera moves the camera a tad.
I have a shutter release, but sometimes either don't bring it or forget, so the timer is my backup. ; I never do a slow shutter tripod shot without either cable release or timer.
