A (no)Horse-drawn Carriage

    This was from about a year ago when I was still using a P&S, and it shows. I just could not get the colors to do what I wanted them to do so I decided to go black and white. I blurred the background to try and give it a little more life, but that didn't do much.

    This was originally quite a bit wider of a shot, but there was a couple walking out on the right side. There was also a boy sitting on the bench close to the 'horse's' head, but I managed to clone him out pretty well.

    Let me know what you think and any suggestions you have for more processing. This is another shot I get to add to my ever growing list of things to shoot next time I go.

    The blur in the background almost provides a little shift effect. ; Very nice.

    I think the image of the carriage really comes out with the blurred background. ; Nice, and thanks for sharing!
