http://www.wwltv.com/video/news-index.html?nvid=266519 Here we have a State Trooper being interviewed by a TV reporter about an unsafe section of the interstate. [me=Roger]loves the irony![/me]
I love video's like this. I think that the troopers reaction to the accident is great! It's like he can't believe that this happened while he was just talking about prevention on tape. ;D
one of those police things, stuff happens, really weird stuff happens in public, unbelievable stuff happens in public in front of a really large gathering or a news crew another similar corollary the larger the public gathering, the more beer, the hotter the sun, the greater the likelyhood of sergeant gary having to say to one of the troops at some point, " can you believe this S*** it's even been quantified mathematically MASS OF HUMANITY X BEERS/HOUR SQUARED DIVIDED BY HOURS IN THE SUN CUBED = CHANCE YOU WILL HAVE TO END THE NIGHT HANDCUFFED TO THE DIRTY UNWASHED FLOOR OF MY HOLDING CELL
Grumpwurst is probably right, the drivers were watching the news crew, not the road. Anybody ever see Jeff Dunham's comedy routines? As the cars smacked into each other, I could just hear Walter's voice in my head yelling, "Dumb a**!"
This just happened to me the other night. We had met a squad enroute to the hospital and were on the side of the road, assessing the pt. in the ambulance. All of a sudden we heard this loud BANG, and breaking glass. When I looked outside, some ying yang had rear ended the car that was stopped at the traffic light.
