    I know that the stats are not as supportive of breastfeeding as Canada is - and I was wondering if any of you have nursed in public while at Disney?

    I am not someone that is shy about nursing, I am discreet, but if my kid is hungry, I am going to feed him. I don't like the idea of walking all the way across the park to the baby care room.

    So, other than dirty looks from some of the other patrons/park goers - what should I expect? Will I be asked to go somewhere private? what if I refuse?

    Although, I do not have personal experence...... but my wife when we were travelling with our DD through the parks nursed alot. ; She utilized the baby care centers alot since they had everything you could possibly ask for, change tables, rocking chairs, places to rinse and wash stuff, and it was very quiet. ; When we found ourselves a fair distance from a baby care center, we found a nice quiet spot on the grass or under a tree somewhere and she nursed there. ; Remember Disney is extremely family friendly. ; We never had any problems or did she ever feel uncomfortable. ; ;

    I would hope that you would have no problems nursing wherever you had to. ; I don't think I have ever really noticed anyone nursing other than the baby care centers, but that is not to say there aren't babies getting fed elsewhere around the parks. ; Kailey was weened by the time we went down last year. ; I would say do what you need to do to keep your baby happy.
