Anaheim mayor proposes monorail funding

    "Already last month, the City Council approved a proposal to seek Measure M funding."

    They're not going to get it. OCTA prefers light rail. Interesting proposal, although I think it would cost more than $250 million. It would have to be elevated. Elevated+SoCal+liquifaction+current EQ standards=big bucks for contractor

    Not going to happen.

    But there was a semi-related April Fools Day joke a while back re: the Strawberry Fields 3rd Park lot actually belonging to a Native American Tribe, so the 3rd gate in Anaheim became a Disney Casino.

    Considering that Garden Grove not too long ago was looking to find ancient Native American tribal ground to open a casino in town, gee, not too far from the Anaheim Resort Districtâ„¢, that joke wasn't too far fetched.
