One of the highlights for me last July at the Duxford Flying Legends Airshow was the pairing of a P-51 and a B-17 like they did so many times late in WWII. It was interesting as the P-51 they chose was painted with a scheme like a P-40, I have never seen that on a Mustang. It also had British markings. The B-17 used in the show was painted with different nose art on each side for the filming of Memphis Belle. Angel on our wing by John Wolff, on Flickr
