As is yours, HW! ; That blog post about why birds stand on one leg is still very popular. ; It gets a few hits every day. ; People are always searching for this answer. That was a photo I took outside of the car. ; I think I fired off a half dozen before diving back into the car for protection from the bionic insects.
I forgot about that blog post but remember seeing it before. found it thru google again. what I like about your shot is that it shows the one leg tucked under the feathers. all mine only show the one leg. haven't got the other side like yours
Isn't the old joke that the reason a bird does not tuck in the other leg is because it would fall down if it tucked in both legs?
