    Very good under very tough lighting conditions. 1dM2 or the pentax? 30D was blowing out her hair too much. Can't wait to shoot it again.

    OMG! What are the pertinent EXIF stats for that shot? The clarity is phenomenal

    Ray, from the Smugmug site it shows 1/60 sec, f/2.8 at 200mm (260 equiv), hmm with -1 EV. And it was the Mk2. Yeah APS-H will beat APS-C/FX anyday.

    White balance was "a little left, a little right, yeah, that looks about right."

    If I recall, I was in evaluative mode and dialed in the -1 to avoid overexposure with so much black in the picture. I can't recall why I didn't switch to spot or even center weighted.

    Nice one mark! your white balance seems to be good on this one. i got some great shots at this show with my old 20d/50mm combo, but my WB seemed a bit too warm...
