Hello! I've heard that Disney is going to be adding the world from Avatar (James Cameron) to Animal Kingdom. I saw a bit on it, such as conceptual designs, on a DVD or television once. But, I don't remember. Does anyone out there know anything about this. If its actually going to happen, when would it be opening.
Yes, it is true. Construction already started. The last thing I remember hearing is that it'll be ready for opening on 2015, but I can't quite recall...
Huh... that's... interesting. I guess I'll have to check it out before deciding anything for sure, but that seems like it would fit in better at Universal than Disney. I mean, it's technically neither Universal NOR Disney, it just... seems like it would make more sense with the Universal rides, since it's not that kid-ish of a movie.
I thought I heard that Avatarland's opening date was going to be 2016, but I don't remember where I saw that. They broke ground on the project last year.
