I just learned about a super secret web site where you can make Fastpass+ reservations for lunch at the Be Our Guest restaurant: ; https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com ; You need to log in with your Disney email and password and enter your resort reservation number. ; You have the option to pre-order your food.

I've made a reservation for myself on MK day; my window is 1:25 - 1:55 pm. ; The only other option was earlier, somewhere in the 11 am - noon window.

If you're interested in this restaurant, this is the best way to avoid standing in line for hours.

I've wanted to eat there but think the lines are ridiculous, so I end up skipping it. ; I'll have to check that out. ; Do you recommend pre-ordering?

If you can make a FP/Ressie, I say do it. ; The day I went it was raining. ; The line reached the length of the bridge. ; Still, it didn't take long (20 minutes) to get in, place our orders and find a table. ; The food showed up within 10 minutes of us being seated. ; Cool tech on those server carts.

    Make that 3 of us.

In case anyone else wants to make a reservation, if you don't get the timeframe you want in the first try, hit the back button, then the next button until the time slot you want shows up. ; Took 3 tries to get the 1:20-1:50 slot to show up.

Michael, I don't know if there is any advantage to pre-ordering other than the time-saving aspect of not having to wait for an available ordering device. ; At the very least, look over the menu to see what they offer so you don't have to decide when you arrive.

  8. When I go to this link the site ends availability on Dec 2nd. I also have the conundrum of an Annual Pass that expires Dec. 5th and it has to be renewed at guest services because I'm using multiple payment methods (Pesos and bit coins ; ;) )

The scuttle but has it that the wait times for lunch are becoming more reasonable (30 mins). When I did the FP ADR for lunch at BOG in October the biggest hold up seems to be the people that can't make up their (children's) minds about what they want to eat and clog up the line while fighting with "junior" to decide....

It's like they were never in a restaurant before.....

Chicken or beef people... chicken or beef!!!

ok so i set myself up with a res for lunch on mk day, i preordered because what i looked at had something that usually appeals to me for a lunch. i can see that this needs a bunch of fine tuning, for instance why do i have to wait until check in to reduce the size of my party, it put myself and tim as the party size, even though i'm not sure he'll be there, one would think that reserving seats for mythical guests makes for less turnover of the seat, and less gross income. i fiddled around for a full half hour and just could not get that window that starts at 1:25, that's when my window ends, so i guess i'll just be fashionably late, if they say anything i'll blame it on the missing person, say i was trying to get him somewhere on time, but you know that's like herding cats. i'm thinking as i get a little closer i'll revisit this and see if i can bump over to the 1:25 window

My only reservation with the reservation is that it would not let me add anyone to my party. ; So it is a sad party of one, although it seems as if many other TMIPers will be sitting around by themselves too.

I didn't like that either, but I think this is still a beta test, so they probably haven't figured out how to let you add people on that aren't staying in the same room

Beta test was my impression and I do hope they work the kinks out.

Can't take anyone off from your room res either. It has Tim and I, and I still can't tell if it has 2 soups set up, but Gary is the only one eating anything else

I may join you, G, if you can't get me dropped from your ressie. ; What did you order and can it be changed?

From what I read, most orders can be modified. ; There are a few items that can't according to a review that I read, but they didn't give a list.

We got a FP time between 1:00 and 1:30. Didn't preorder. I know that goes against the Disney way. I should know what I want to eat 180 days in advance. What can I say? I'm one of those confused souls who wants to relax on vacation and be spontaneous.

    Here's a summary of what I see:

    Gary/Tim 12:55 - 1:25
    underh2odoc 1:00 - 1:30
    RedOctober25/mSummers 1:20 - 1:50
    Dennis/Dave (non-TMIP) 1:25 - 1:55

Since it looks like most of you can get in at 1:20 pm, I suggest we all meet no later than 1:10 pm. ; Those with the early windows can go in and grab a table or two to accomodate the whole group. ; The rest of us will come in when our windows open up.

  19. Nannette and I have a 12:15 to 12:45 reservation.

Actually I have the reservation as it wouldn't let me add Nannette but, being the so so friend that I am, I added her menu choices to my order so now it looks like 1 woman, who no longer has a stomach thanks to cancer, is ordering 2 Braised Pork entrees, two beverages and two desserts! Niiice....

The ridiculousness of this, thanks to the fabulous I. T. department at Disney is not lost on me.

The last time I went my reservation never showed up in the "System" so this time I am printing out proof and bringing it with me as it is still not showing up in my FP choices on the "My Dizzy Experience".

That Braised Pork is beyond delicious BTW. if you're not sure what to get get that!

The reason I mention all this is to warn all of you of the tremendous time suck that ordering at the kiosks on site can turn into. Definitely order ahead and you will get back 15 minutes of your life that you would have spent waiting behind some clueless family who FINALLY decided what THEY want.
