If you were going to go to the beach while visiting the Orlando area, where would you go? ; Any experiences??? ;
Beach? ; There are other things in Orlando besides Disney World?...LOL! ; Unfortunately I don't know of any, but hopefully someone else will.
No No i am sure the only thing to do in Orlando is Disney world and Disney world! Except that Pizza place i love going too... what's the name of it again minnie? It's by the Outback
Pizza!!!! ; Now you've got my attention. ; Let me know what it's called and I may have to check it out!!! If it was just me, I could spend our entire 11 days (or so) at WDW, but there always has to be room for compromise. ;
A neat place to go in Kissimme (not a beach) is Old Town.....really cool shops and some rides (I haven't been there since 1996, so it may have changed but it was awesome when I was 15)
Thanks for putting me on the spot Sean. ; The pizza place you are talking about is Giordanos. ; It is right off the main drag in Kissimmee. ; Sorry, I can't remember if that is I-drive or not. ; But there is an Outback Steakhouse, TGIFridays right in the same complex. ; Then there is a Londons drugs across the street and an ARP Drugs (I think) in that complex as well. ; We love our food!! Here is the website. http://www.giordanos.com/main.php If you do go there, remember that you don't need to order a large to feed a family. ; Sean and I could barely eat a small it was so much to eat. ; But it is good. ; The other place I like to go to is Medieval Times. ; So much fun!!
We just booked the Choice Suite at Eastgate (Kissimmee)... so we should be there. ; I read about Old Town and it sounds cool. We tried to book the Magicard (Orlando Tourism) rate for the hotel but now the hotel and Orlando Tourism are arguing about when their contracts expire... apparently I've stirred up a mini hornets nest. ; ;
Bill you really need to go to that pizza place and have the "stuffed" pizza! It's to die for! omg i am just getting so hungry thinking about it!
You've got me!!! ; My son loves pizza almost as much as I do... so we'll defenitely be making a stop there.
Disney's Vero Beach resort is a great way to scratch the beach itch - you can combine a trip to the beach with a WDW trip!
There is also a ; Giordano's, seconds from DTD. Giordano's LAKE BUENA VISTA (407) 239-8900 12151 S. APOPKA VINELAND RD As for the beaches, the closest is CoCoa Beach, we've been there on day trips. You can rent chairs umbrellas and visit the original Ron Jon's Surf Shop. About a 75 min drive from WDW. 60 if my wife drives. I'm with Shelia go to Disney's Vero Beach resort. Cocoa Beach
