OK, surely someone has figured out the best spot to set up your tripod to get awesome Wishes pictures. I was on top of the train station 3 weeks ago and didn't like the trees and poles in the way. Any ideas? Nikki in Nashville
I think Tim's suggestion to me would be the middle of main street just past Coke Corner, I mean, Casey's Corner.
The Noodle Station in Tomorrowland is a nice spot, but you have to get there early to get a seat at the railing. I also like shooting from the top of the exit ramp at the TTC Ferry Dock. From there, you get both Main Street Station and the Castle. Plus, there is never anyone there, so you can set up a couple of minutes before the show.
Neat Tim, I was going to ask you where you shoot Wishes because you have some really neat shots in your gallery. I think the ones I was really liking were the ones you took at the flagpole. thanks for the idea! When you shoot at the Poly are you actually set up in the sand or are you on the sidewalk?
Wait... I thought the prize location for shooting across the lagoon was next to the TTC ferry boat dock?
I would think that the best spot would be right out front of Casey's Corner on Main Street as mentioned above. I think I will have to bring my tripod on the next trip for the sole purpose of shooting Wishes & Illuminations. I can always leave it at the room & go get it later in the day or rent a locker.
