Alan Weitz from B&H takes you thru the process of using a tilt-shift lens and shows a lot of the cool tricks that you can do with one of those. ; From correcting distortion to selective focusing techniques, these lenses seem really cool. ; I have never used one and really wasn't sure how they worked, but I can see them being very useful at walt disney world during a night time photo tour of world showcase. ; I just might have to put one of those on my list... ; Enjoy the video!

    They're really fun.

I rented one during my honeymoon in 2000. ; Tried to use it to get SE without the hand/wand 2000 logo in the shot.

Need to fig up those negatives......

they were kind of forgotten technology for awhile, relegated to the specialists in architectural shooting, only understood by someone with a solid background in large format/view camera use, but the advent of good live view, particularly on full frame bodies has really changed all that, i've actually done quite a bit of online research into this, the only reason i haven't gotten one yet is because i'm waiting for my next body upgrade, which i assume will have live view, as that seems to be on it's way to becoming a cannon standard feature in all the bodies

    I love those tilt-shift videos.

My favorite scene in this one was at 2:24, during Illuminations - I laughed out loud at the sight of all those camera and camcorder LCDs lit up in the bottom of the frame!
