I am going through Scott Kelby's 7 point book. In one step it as two smart object layers open and says to "double click directly on the layer's thumbnail to open it in Camera RAW." I am using CS4 and can't get this to work. Does anyone know how to open a smart object layer in Camera Raw from within CS4? If I double click on the layer's thumbnail in CS4 it opens that layer in another tab which you can edit and once you close the tab it updates the layer in the first photo.
did you make sure you carefully completed steps 4,5,& 6 to ensure that you had smart objects in the first place?
