    I'm guessing that subwavelength coating is similar to Nikon's Nano coating.

    Not really surprised by this one, this "we're the only one who has one" lens has been considered subpar compared to the 35/1.4L. Probably also because the old version's problems are more evident with the 21.1MP sensor.
