Canon announces their new APS-H sensor. 120mp

    nice, but when are they going to release some new DSLRs?

    Thursday? ; I think that's when the embargo lifts. ; I've only seen 60D mentioned. ; The 1DsMkIV *may* be announced, but it supposedly won't be available until early next year.

    So odds are a pre-production one will be shown at Photokina.

    I wish they would bring more camera's to market that would help drive the price for the 7D down, so I can get it sooner rather than later. ; Unfortunately the 60D won't do that for me. ; Oh well, good things come to those that wait, right? ;)

    I saw that Roger. ; I hear ya Jeff, I'm saving for a full frame and want to see some new releases.

    i'm hung up here between wanting the 5dmk2, which is out of stock at our favorite tmip supplier, but in stock at my favorite atlanta no sales tax supplier, and waiting until 2011, canon rumor has a 5dmk3 coming in 2011, but no speculative specs on it. i only want 2 things addressed, i want the higher iso of the mk2, and i want the better autofocus that the 7d has. i've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that canon will never make the 45 point af availble outside the top of the line body, and that's just too heavy a brick for any kind of travel work
