Yeah...ouch. ; Looks like one of the great new groups of cams coming out now in the mid-level amateur ranks, but little glitches like that are why a lot of people don't buy stuff the first model year. ; Nothing against the company...but it does seem Canon tends to more often put out their cameras first, ahead of Nikon/Sony/etc, but often at the expense of having to correct problems with firmware more often. ; At least they do offer the firmware fixes, so kudos, but maybe not rushing to win the release race might avoid little bad-news vignettes like this.
