The release date for Cars DVD is today, Nov. 7. ; Anyone see it already? ; Anyone going to get a copy?
I picked it up today. If you buy it at Future Shop you get a collector tin case. I had seen the movie in theaters an really liked it of all the Pixar movies its probably near the bottom but that doesn't mean much because they are all so good and its pretty hard to live up to some of the others (Monsters is still my favorite). I was very dissapointed that it was only a one disk DVD. It has a couple of short movies the only featurette is the inspiration for cars, and four deleted scenes and that's about it. The little mermaid DVD was worth buying just for the extra features (has anyone seen the virtual ride though?). If you liked the movie buy it for that but if your looking for the extra features wait I'm sure Disney will come out with a 2 disk set with much more on it later.
