I created this with Corel Rave for fun. The quality has to be fairly low or it creates huge files. I thought this was fun! *edit to fix broken link
everyone repeat after me, while all bow i'm not worthy, i'm not worthy great job, this is really really cool to see
Two thumbs WAY up, Craig! You know I never had thought a digital frame would be of use but something like this in one would be way cool to display.
Thanks everyone. I'm working on another one, but I'm having trouble getting the castle to line up between frames in the program. I shot a series on a tripod, so the camera didn't move, and I'm pretty sure the castle didn't move , but I cant get the photos to line up just yet. I'll post it here when and if I can get it to work.
Craig did you set the camera on the tri pod and wait for these over time? How long where you up there for?
Ha Ha. I didn't plan on this at all. This is the result of not having to pay for film or processing and taking TONS of pictures, and killing time while Dina visited with her friends. This set didnt take long at all. I think this is from the main show they do at night to light up the castle. The other sets I haven't done yet took about an hour each, and again I was killng time while Dina visited her friends!
I'm still playing with these animated gifs. Here is a fireworks sequence. I'm using Microsoft gif animator. I can only find third party sources to download it. Here is the Google page to find a download source if you want to try it. Google *edit to fix broken link
Very cool Craig. I'm gonna have to try that! PSP8 came with an Animation program, but I always forget to use it. I made an animated GIF long ago of my hand-fed blue jays just to prove to some friends up north that I really do HAND feed my local blue jays: That's probably the last .gif I've made. I did do alot of tripod shots of the castle during Wishes in December, all from the same spot, so I may have the goods to try some .gifs. Thanks for the idea/reminder!
thanks again everyone. Justin, that is neat with the bird. For me, finding the microsoft gif animator was great. Corel Rave is more sophisticated, but harder to use. The Microsoft is just drag and drop, and click "save as". Super easy!
