Hi all, just back from a very warm and sunny spring break trip to the Beach Club Villas. Here's one of the first I've done some touching up to (just some basic adjustments in Aperture -- which I'm liking more and more): [expando]http://borismd.smugmug.com/Vacation/FloridaDisney-310/Epcot-China-Night/827808666_idsGf-XL.jpg[/expando] I'll get around to putting up a few more as time allows. Regards, Boris
Yay, Boris! ; You're back! ; How was the new 7D? ; This shot certainly came out awesome. ; I agree with Jeff. ; The moon looks really neat. ; What lens were you using?
I don't know what exactly it is, but I love these night shots (everyone is included). ; I can't wait to get back down there to take more. ; And would love to see the rest of your photos.
Thank you all for the compliments and support. As for the 7D, I really like it. ; I kept it on auto ISO for a large part of my time, and that, coupled with the kit 28-135 IS lens, actually performed quite well. ; The shutter actuations are much quieter than my XT, and the controls and LCD screen are very nice. ; I'm quite pleased with the camera. I also shot many more shots in RAW this time around. ; Especially my longer exposure night shots. ; I've used Aperture for the retouch work, and found this to be very nice as well. The moon in this shot is a nice touch, and I had nothing to do with putting it there ; . I also took a shot from Justin's "smoker's haven" in China, and will post that as well. ; Fortunately, there was no one in the spot at the time. Later, Boris
Very nice Boris...it's great when that moon sits right over China! ; Excellent exposure, and nice and crisp. ; Looking forward to seeing your smoking spot shot too!
