; I am sitting here watching the Nascar Gatorade duels, I was wondering if it would be possible to combine Disney and Nascar in a Two week Feb. trip. It is about an hour drive to Daytona from Orlando. The thought is to stay at Disney and drive out for the races and come back at night. My questions are Has anyone done this and is it possible. I've never gone to the Nascar races, growing up this is how we always vacationed but the other way we would stay in Daytona Beach and drive to Disney World for the day the drive was pretty easy.
We have stayed at Disney and driven to Daytona, St. Augustine, and Kennedy Space Center for day trips. ; This is very do able. ; From what I remember, the highway is in very good shape between Orlando and Daytona. ; Never been to a Nascar event - hmmm, something to think about.
