i saw something yesterday i had never seen before, right outside my den window a crow landed on a small rabbit, pecked it to death and tore it up and ate it, karen says she saw 2 of them do this together a few years ago. and early in the drama, a female jay was harassing the crow, so maybe it had been attempting a nest raid. i sort of knew crows were predatory, but not on larger stuff. ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;
