nah Gary. they usually don't ; show up until spring. I did however see a lot of young whipper snappers
I have to ask...how is the handling of the camera with the flying birds? Have you tried 3-D dynamic focusing yet?
I watched a Scott Kelby episode and he said he asked the guy from nikon that worked on the focusing system and the guy told him that 21 point dynamic area was the best for sports and ; action so that is what I started using on the d7000. the d90 only had 11 point and didn't work well. on the d7000 it worked very well for me and focused very fast even with the tamron 200-500. a big improvement over the d90 which would hunt all the time with that lens
Great looking images Howie! ; The camera, as with Tim's, has done wonders for your photography. ; I can't wait to see what else you are going to get.
That's what I found to be the best for action, too, Howie. ; I got a hockey game to photograph on Saturday and I'll be using the 21 points.
More amazing shots Howie! ; I believe I will put putting away cash for a while, I think I need a new camera body!
thanks John. I need to save up too for a better lens. I may have to give up food to get the lens I really want
It's not in the budget anyway, but I think a D7000 would be a step down from my D300. ; But, I think I too need to start socking money away because I think the next replacement for the entry-level prosumer camera will be awesome based on what we are seeing in the higher level consumer dSLR showings by Nikon
