Disney Cruise Line has announced the maiden voyage for the Fantasy. ; It will be on April 7, 2012. ; She will be doing 7 day itineraries, swapping back and forth betweeen eastern and western Caribbean. ; I hope we get a chance to sail on her that summer!
Sweet, another option to choose from. ; Is this the one with the water slide that extends out over the edge of the ship?
As far as I know, both new ships will have the Aquaduck, the slide that extends over the edge of the ship. ; That being said, there have been no details about the Fantasy, only about the Dream. ; They continue to call them sister ships, so I believe they will be about 95% the same.
This is all over Central Florida News 13 this morning, and yes it is the sister ship to the Dream and will have the Water Coaster as well.
