I figure I'll loose about 10 - 15 lbs of worry fat!LOL At least it's only a week, our postman's DD goes away for 3 weeks to Italy and she's not been anywhere! I guess this is what I put my mom thru! ; She told me I would have days like this!
How old is she? Is this a grad trip? I would say try not to worry too much, but I know that won't happen.
Yes, it's her Grad Trip! ; She's 18 going on 30!LOL ; But still........... She does have a head on her shoulders and they are traveling with Breakaway Tours which has been doing this for 25 years! It's gonna be a long week!!!!LOL
She's off and I ended up with Food Poisoning!!! Made for an interesting morning trying to get ready! But they made their flight, I think, as I'm sure she is having a grand time already and has forgotten to let me know! ;
Well she made the first leg of her journey OK! But unfortunately, one of the girls didn't get to go. DD said she received a yellow card and went to a different location for customs??? ; Have no idea what that meant and I told DD not to waste her Texts and that we'll talk when she gets back!
hope she has fun! My cousin is in Mexico with Breakaway tours on her grad trip right now as well. They left Friday afternoon
That's who she is travelling with also! DD has a friend who is at a different school who also left on Friday! It's a small world after all!LOL I am suspecting she is having a great time since I haven't heard from her except since they landed!LOL ; I ususally hear from her when she's bored!
Well, I just received a phone call from her!!! ; Apparently she's burnt and has a heat rash!!! They aren't playing the music at the clubs like they have here, mostly Gansta Stuff! ; Akon was the "concert" and LMFAO which was suspected to be there didn't show! ; Apparently, they roll up the sidewalks at midnight like they do here in TO!LOL Told her to make the best of it!!!! ; She could be here in the cold and rain and helping me clean!LOL ;
Well Apparently she is still burnt but it's raining there today, well at least it was this morning!!! Don't envy her for tomorrow since it's a full day of traveling! Can't wait to hear all the stories and see some of the pics!LOL
Well she's at the Airport! ; Hope she has an uneventful travel day! Glad it's going to be warm so I don't have to bring the winter gear!LOL
