I'm editing this thread to make this an 'official' photo thread where we can all post any additional shots from Galaxy's Edge during daytime. Note: there will be a separate thread for the Millenium Falcon and ride-related photos for Smuggler's Run! 9/20/19 - Well, last week I got my first look at the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at DHS. I know - someone who's not a Star Wars fan taking photos of a place devoted to all things Star Wars doesn't make much sense, right? Well, even though I don't know the films or the lore, or honestly much of what I was seeing, I still found it enjoyable as the theming was taken in typical Disney fashion - thorough and deep...and it is actually more impressive to me than Pandora, as it's much bigger in scale and size. Here are some of my first shots of the place in the late afternoon on a stormy day:
I can only imagine how crowded this area will be when Rise of the Resistance opens a little more than a month from now. Resistance X-wing by John Wolff, on Flickr
It looks like there's a fairly lengthy (and scenic) outdoor queue for RotR. But on the 5th the line will probably stretch back beyond Star Tours.
