Digital noise

Just got back from my sons winter percussion shows and took a lot of pics. Had to use a high ISA setting, 800, because of the gyms lighting and need to use a fast shutter speed. I noticed I have some digital noise that I would like to get rid of. I have tried using the Adobe CS2 noise reduction filter but is there something out there that works better and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Noise Ninja isn't that expensive for the non-professional version. But I've heard PSP's noise reduction seems to be pretty good as well.

Personally I'm also happy with ACDSee Pro's noise reduction.

I also use Noise Ninja and I'm very pleased with the results. NN comes with both a stand-alone version that can be used in batch mode and a plug-in version that you can use inside Photoshop.

I run the stand-along version in batch mode on all of my pics, even when they're not noisy, because it has a much better JPG compression algorithm than the one built into my camera; the result is that my pics file size goes down to less than half the original file size without any visible loss of quality.
