    I just wanted to share an example of DW's digital scrap booking. ; I still need to post more pics over on the main site though....

    This is all done on the computer and printed out as a single sheet of photo paper.

    Nice. Scrap booking seems to be going digital.

    How do the purists feel about this?

    Friends of DW seem to like it... but prefer their own style, as not everyone has photoshop.

    Oooo...I love it. ; Such a great way to show the photos and not have to print them out if you don't want to.

    My sister uses some on line program to do her scrap booking. No photoshop knowledge needed.

    That's crazytown!

    I might be willing to give it a shot myself, but it does, I think, defeat the two main reasons I took up scrapbooking after my last Disney trip. One is that I needed to organize all my paper ephemera: postcards, napkins, tickets, etc. My scrapbook might have more of those than of actual photos! The other is that I like making pages that have a textured similarity to the subject of the photos. For example, I found a paper for my Big Thunder photos that has the texture and colour of the mountain, some gold gilt paisley pages that work great for Fantasyland, and a different, high-relief gold paisley page that resembles Victorian ceiling tile, useful for Main St. and Golden Horseshoe scenes. It's not just about having a place to put pictures but to put the whole sight and feel of Disneyland in a smallish, booklike form. ;
