I just wanted to share an example of DW's digital scrap booking. ; I still need to post more pics over on the main site though.... This is all done on the computer and printed out as a single sheet of photo paper.
Oooo...I love it. ; Such a great way to show the photos and not have to print them out if you don't want to.
That's crazytown! I might be willing to give it a shot myself, but it does, I think, defeat the two main reasons I took up scrapbooking after my last Disney trip. One is that I needed to organize all my paper ephemera: postcards, napkins, tickets, etc. My scrapbook might have more of those than of actual photos! The other is that I like making pages that have a textured similarity to the subject of the photos. For example, I found a paper for my Big Thunder photos that has the texture and colour of the mountain, some gold gilt paisley pages that work great for Fantasyland, and a different, high-relief gold paisley page that resembles Victorian ceiling tile, useful for Main St. and Golden Horseshoe scenes. It's not just about having a place to put pictures but to put the whole sight and feel of Disneyland in a smallish, booklike form. ;
