Disney offers deals to military

Walt Disney World will be offering active and retired members of the U.S. military one complimentary 5-day through Dec. 23.

The Disney’s Armed Forces Salute ticket for friends and family members will cost $99, according to a Walt Disney World reservations Web site. Friends and family can obtain the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More options —which includes access to the four Disney theme parks, water parks, DisneyQuest and other attractions — given to members of the military for an additional $25.

According to the reservations Web site, the average cost of one 5-day adult ticket with the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More option totals $322.

The member of the military can purchase up to five tickets. Members of the military will be eligible to save up to 40 percent on rooms at select Disney moderate resorts on select dates.
