I'm sorry if there has been a thread like this before... I'm interested in getting a Disney tattoo. ; I was wondering if any of you have them. I was thinking of getting the Disney D really small. My only concern is that I want to be a Character Actor at Disney. ; If I do, and I manage to score the coveted Face role, it would mean having a non-visible one. That's my dream at least. ; The only thing I really want in life (to be a Character)... Anyways, back on topic. Have you seen any cool ones? ; Do you have any?
Weve seen plenty of tattoos on all sorts of people while in WDW. ; Last winter we saw a women in backless top, and on her back was Cinderellas Castle and surround it was all the princesses. ; It was a little too much, OK alot too much. ; We were in shock to see it, and to top it off this was not a young women. Personally I believe the most tasteful tattoos I've seen have been smaller, straight black, images og mickey or Steamboat Willie on someones shoulder or corner of back. ; I think the your idea of the D from Disney would be tasteful. ; Good luck getting it done and certainly let us know if ya get a job down there.
I have one that I created myself and had tattooed about a year ago. ; <--- It looks like my avatar - about 10 cm in size - on my leg. I noticed a lot of people looking at it the last time we were at Disneyland. ; DW has a Tink on her leg. They say tattoos are addictive. ; I can't wait to get my next one!
You'll definately hate mine then!LOL I have the Pirates Skull with a Mickey Hat on my Left Back Shoulder, A Sword with 1/2 of the Pirate Code (have to have the other done to complete) Am getting a MM one done in a couple of weeks but won't mention where as this was a dare by a friend!LOL And yes Tatts are addictive! ; But you must be sure that you can live with what you get for the rest of your life! And as far as being a CM, yes, there are no visible tatts allowed and they are very strict on this, especially at WDW or any of the parks!
Yes, I know they're pretty strict. ; I can fully understand why though. See, I'm getting my dog's name (Fin) right along my bikini line very small, where obviously no crazy Disney Face Female character shows, except maybe for Kida in Atlantis, but I don't think she was a character at all in the Park. But the Disney one I wanted to get was this one here, exact size too. : It does mean a lot to me, and I've always wanted one that had a bit of The Little Mermaid in it. Course, admittedly, I'm only 17. ; My mom is allowing me to get the tattoos as well, but I can't figure out where to put the POYW one. Especially since the position of Character Acting that would be my dream is Ariel. Obviously. Slightly obsessed with the Little Mermaid.
You can have it as what is known as the "Tramp Stamp" but then you won't be able to have an epiderral (sp) when you have kids. You can do it as a side tat but it's very painful there! Bikini line. Just remeber, if you want to work for Disney, it cannot be visible at all!
I was thinking I would start it off with one on my hip/panty line or on my heel (the one for my dog - it's very small), and then take it from there. Getting into Disney is a tough biz. ; I've been talking to someone who works at WDW and she said it's not easy, but it's the job of a lifetime. I think I'm holding off on TLM one for a couple years. ; If I don't make it then gosh-darn, I can get the tattoo whenever I want. Of course, being a Face Character is the ultimate goal in the end, but I play a mean Eeyore I have no problems being a fur character for however length of time either, and you can't see squat of someone in that. Also helps that I'm 5'1... Definitely do not want a "Tramp Stamp", back, breast or thigh one. I'm kinda picky ;
