WPRI 12 - PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Another movie is set to film in Rhode Island. Steven Feinberg, director of the Rhode Island Film and Television Office, says Walt Disney Pictures will film a romantic comedy starring Steve Carrell in Jamestown, Middletown and several South County spots. Carrell starred in "The 40-year-old Virgin" and the NBC series "The Office." In "Dan in Real Life," he will play a widower who falls in love with his brother's girlfriend. The movie also will star Juliette Binoche from "The English Patient" and Dane Cook, who will be seen in the upcoming "Transformers." Feinberg says production is expected to begin in the fall. Disney recently wrapped up work on "Underdog" in Providence.
Hmm... not a theme I'd expect from Disney (man falls in love with brother's girlfriend, I mean)... ; I look forward to hearing more about this as it gets closer to release.
