There seems to be alot of advantages and discounts attached to this Visa. ; Anyone out there have or figure out a way for a Canadian resident to get one. ; I would love to get the perks!
No can do ... there's been many discussions about this on other sites. You need a: 1. ; U.S. SIN — not too difficult to obtain. My husband has one to work in the US 2. ; U.S. permanent mailing address — no PO BOX, no hotel address (again hubbie could fudge that) BUT 3. U.S. employer — and they do follow up on this. Hubbie works for a North American company, but his "head office" is Canada, and that wouldn't pass the application. There's been rumours of the Disney VISA coming north for a long time. I guess our banking structure is holding it back ; ??? ; I for one would LOVE to have it! The only person I've heard that had one lived and worked in the States full time for awhile. Once they had the card, they were able to have a "change of address" applied to their Canadian address when they moved back. The problem is getting the card in the first place.
I'd love a Disney Visa. That's a reward card I would use. When we were there this March a CM pushing the Visa's told me they're planning to offer it to Canadians next year. They also told me that is 2005, 2006 & 2007.
I would love to have a Disney Visa!!!!!! ; ; It would be great if they could finally figure out a way of offering it to us! ; ;D
I've been told the same thing Ham. I wish they would I would definately get some use out of it. They should also make it an American dollar card.
