I will be in Long Beach in a couple of weeks for business and was wondering if there are any options to get into the parks after a certain time for a reduced rate. ; Anyone know if they do this? ; I could not find anything at the Disney site. I have seen conference deals before in WDW, but nothing in DL.
They used to do it for Christmas time, but I haven't heard about it in a while, probably because the park is usually very busy.
Might have to stick to downtown disney and maybe check out the hotels some, don't feel like paying full price for only a few hours. ; Really wanted to see the Haunted Mansion overlay! ; And the new ElecTRONica WOC segment and ElecTRONica party!
some interesting ticket availability on E-bay! http://cgi.ebay.com/1-TIX-1-DAY-DISNEYL ... 1893wt_907
Just found this on MouseSavers, hope it works since I have some old tickets from WDW with days remaining! Using Walt Disney World Tickets at Disneyland Interesting, unpublished fact: you can use any unexpired, leftover days on a Walt Disney World ticket at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure! Present the Disney World ticket at the gate on arrival -- they will take it somewhere, deduct a day from it, and give you a one-day Disneyland Park Hopper ticket. You can repeat this day by day until the Disney World ticket is used up. They will not give you a multi-day ticket all at once, even if you have multiple days left on your Disney World ticket. Also, MouseSavers.com reader Danny P notes that any Disneyland ticket obtained from exchanging a Walt Disney World ticket must be used on the same day it was exchanged. This policy has been in effect at least since I started this site (2001), and the information was last reconfirmed by a MouseSavers.com reader as of October 2010. Don't even bother calling Disneyland to ask about this -- the people answering the phone have no idea and they will tell you they don't take Disney World tickets.
That is awesome... I have 4 or 5 days left from the year prior to getting annual passes just sitting in my wallet. ; Planning on hitting DLR next spring and this would save me some money... ; very cool! brought to you by an (HTC) "Incredible" Guy.
I'll keep you posted and see if it in fact still works. ; The E-bay option looks like too much of a scam to me.
Well it still works! ; Just take your ticket directly to the turnstiles (NOT the ticket booths) at Disneyland Park (not sure if they can do the same at DCA) and someone will take your ticket over to a terminal where they can look up the status of your ticket. ; If days are available, they will issue you a one day park hopper for DL/DCA. I assume they will issue a one day one park ticket if that is what you have or if you request multiple days, but I did not ask about that.
That is AWESOME... will save me some money in the long run as I am usually getting an Annual Pass at WDW. ; The downside is that I found out I don't get my third week of vacation until 2012 so my plans to make it out to Disneyland are on hold for a year. ; Hope you had a great time.
But that's good! ; The Little Mermaid and Star Tours open next year but in 2012 Carsland will be opening along with the remainder of the DCA redo, including the Red Trolley Line.
I had a good time, but it was a one day visit, had to get there before my work meetings started. ; Also went back another night for a Downtown Disney visit. ; Ate at the Naples restaurant which was excellent. 2013 is now our target date to return for a family trip, DCA will be in great shape by then! ; Rumors going around that a Tron influence of Tomorrowland may happen depending upon the success of the new movie. ; ElecTRONica was pretty neat.
