Disney's Wide World of Sports receives industry recognition

In the December 2008 edition, SportBusiness International magazine named Disney's Wide World of Sports™ one of four international "venues of the future." SportBusiness International delivers essential information, analysis and insight into the fast-developing global sports sector. The magazine identified Disney's Wide World of Sports as leading the world in terms of renewing the concepts of sports and cultural facilities and set to shape the global sports environment for decades to come. "To have international recognition for Disney's Wide World of Sports as a venue of the future is an honor," Ken Potrock, senior vice president of Disney Sports Enterprises said.
