Thanks, it would have been great but a smoker came by to sit on the bench in the lower corner so I had to crop it a bit, but it's still very nice.
hmmm... sounds like someone (the smoker, not you) should listen to the MDP about rude guests... i agree, it is a very nice pic.
Of course the second one is nice, I'm a big fan of all night photography.. but I don't know, something about the first one really interests me. I'm trying to analyze why I like it, but I can't really come up with an explanation.
I was thinking the same thing Tim... park etiquette. My wife and I found that DCA had many more people smoking "everywhere" especially around the water. Dan, others have commented the same thing, I think it's how the composition has Minnie posing for the camera - almost flirting. I tried to do something similar with the Mickey as well, but there weren't as many unique angles to take or "poses to make".
