I am sitting down and yes i am finally working on the new DisneyMagic version 3.0 site. This will be a new site filled with new and interesting items and have functionality for updates from myself, Karen and even our community members that way we can do them on the fly and not need to worry about programming... I have hit a road block .. I am out of creative ideas .. So i figured who better to ask then out community members What would you like to see on the new DM 3.0 site? Is there anything that you would like to see that is missing? (yes yes user reviews will be part of 3.0) but is there something we are not doing that you would like to see? Maybe the weather on the main page again? Hmmmm... I can't ask stuff from you without making it a little sweet can I? .. Nah .. So here is my idea whoever replies to this post with some new or even old suggestions (not current ones) will have their name put in a draw to win a piece of Disney Art. That's right DM users .... everyone who makes a suggestion will get their name enter in a ballot for some Disney Art. Which we will draw for on the Northern Mouse podcast (If Carlos is okay with that). If someone makes a suggestion that is just a super idea then they will get an additional ballot.. If you have some ideas.. and end up posting more ideas.. you will get another ballot..
Maybe not a new idea, but I find the Vacation Reports very useful and entertaining. ; Perhaps a dedicated section for members to post their VR with photos, itineraries,etc. ; Maybe even going further and breaking down the section into areas of Disney (Land/World/Cruise/Adventures). ; That's is my first, more to come!
Not a new idea, but I love the 'show unread posts since last visit' feature. ; When you are in a hurry but need a quick Disney read it allows me to see what has been posted since my last visit. ; Very convenient rather than trying to filter through loads of entries that are old news. ; This site really has everything you need but I'll try to think of some new suggestions?
And how about "unanswered posts", that way if we've been away and someone asks a question but no one has replied...........we can help out!

Absolutely Sean. 1. An interactive map of the world would be cool. Click on a resort gives you info about the resort, click on the ride gives you info on the ride etc. 2. A mobile version of the forums to make it easier to access and participate or a way to respond to posts from email

how about a function that when you click on a thread that has new replies, it takes you to the first one you haven't read? (wedding bells has this)
I love this idea .... love it .. and would love to push forward with it .. as long as people who write the reports are okay with me saving them and posting them. (plus we need to get more people to write them)
