I can't believe I haven't started a thread for everyone to post their photos of the Japan pavilion in yet. Well, here it is. I'll start it off with a near-duplicate shot of one of the drummers from Matsuriza. The original shot was good, but the drumstick was in front of her face. I found another where it's not. You be the judge of which one is better. Beat that drum
Did you know that Matsuriza means Festival? Neither did I. It's on the internet, so it must be true. Drum festival
Thanks, John. I like shooting them from the side like this, but haven't been able to get a shot as good as this one yet. I'll just have to keep trying...
When I'm in Japan, I really do take pictures of things other than Matsuriza. Just not very often. Synchronized sticks
I know its a Nikon Picture Spot. But I did use a Nikon camera and lens to take it so it's all good. Spaceship Earth Through the Torii Gate by Scott Thomas, on Flickr
Here's yet another photo of Matsuriza. I guess I'm just a sucker for a woman with big sticks. On my next trip I'll take photos of other parts of Japan, I promise. A Real Professional
And despite what I said the last time I posted a Matsuriza shot, here's another Matsuriza shot. Maybe next time I'll post a bonsai tree or something. Japan or Not?
