Now that they let you back inside those lovely glass pyramids...here's a new shot of the interior!: That's the new DVC member lounge - which may I tell you is a lovely place to be able to stop on a very very hot July day - what with the gratis super-Coke machines that can generate hundreds of drink flavors...and they actually give you a decent-sized cup, not those little Dixie paper water cone sized things. Comfy chairs, wifi with free tablets around for use, TVs, games, etc.
I may have been up there once as a kid but I don't really remember it. Glad to see it open again and I can't wait to see it in October.
I wonder what they did with the Rainbow Tunnel and other stuff that was still up there a few years ago.
Some of the area is blocked off - CM only doors and all. You can walk up the stairs that come out of the gift store, which wrap around, or take the elevator in that center shaft. Once up there, my shot pretty much shows the entire usable area - I'm standing at the back corner of the pyramid - you can only access the one pyramid, and if I remember correctly the tunnel was sort of between the two - so that seems to have been walled off for CM areas. The entire area under one pyramid is where the lounge occupies.
