I'm running out of things to say here.. I've said it all before. What stands out to me is the shot with the bird looking straight at the camera, and the matrix of small plants with only one bearing flowers. I hadn't noticed the "don't be afraid to be who you are" comment but was still thinking that the image seemed to be a comment on the nature of individuality. No, I have to comment further. Okay, the shot with Test Track in the background and the planters in the foreground has a nice repetition of shapes. I would never have noticed that if I was there in person, much less thought to photograph it. The mannequins are fun, the side of the tree (or whatever that is) has a lot of interesting texture, and the side of the Imagination pyramid is sublime, perhaps my favorite shot of the bunch. You've taken a complex structure that I can never photograph very well (I do it at night, and all the complex inner geometry comes through and makes it look too confusing, almost like an optical illusion) and turned into a very clean yet still instantly recognizable shape. As for the last one... what the heck is it? I'm baffled.
Hi Dan! Thanks for your kind words! Wow! Did I do all of that? Guess so if you say so! The last shot is the top of one of the "monuments" with the Leave a Legacy pics. It seemed to be aimed at the monorail when you look at it from a different angle, like a ski jump, so it got its picture taken. I guess I am attracted to shapes and patterns and geometric lines, but also abstracts. Who knows how long this will last? I'll be "seeing" things differently soon and shooting from an entirely different perspective - maybe...
