You can tell which attractions are most popular, photographically speaking, by when their threads were created. The newer the thread, the less popular the attraction. Test Track is obviously pretty low on the list.
I admit, I've never photographed on that ride, and rarely think to photograph it - just a big circular metal building on the outside, so not real scenic! Every once in a while though, I've found a way to incorporate it into a shot - especially at sunset and dusk when that big silver building picks up light:
I had my camera in Aperture Priority mode at f/8 with a Sigma 15mm Fisheye on my Nikon D750 camera getting ready for the outside speed shots on the high banks of Test Track when I got this great idea... The exposure was for 1.3 seconds. Hand held it had no chance to be remotely sharp. Will try it next time with a different setting but I do like the concept.
It's not bad as-is. Sure, we perfectionists would like the car to be tack-sharp, but I'm sure you'd get a bunch of +1s on G+. I'll have to post my Epcot failed experiment later this week.
While Test Track is down for refurbishment, you can sing along with the car songs of the Test Track All Stars. But only if you're still living in 2012. Drive to the Beat
I still haven't had time to process my WDW trips from 2018 and 2019, so here's a shot of Test Track from 2007. Forward into the Past
