Post your jolly old photos of the United Kingdom here. The reason that I'm starting all of these new threads is to encourage everyone to post in attraction-specific threads rather than adding to the already-lengthy POTD threads. @Tim thought it would be a good idea to spread things out and make them easier to find, and I agree.
We've all heard about the abrupt and unpopular release of Off Kilter, Mo'Rockin, Spirit of America and World Showcase Players and their equally unpopular replacements, lumberjacks and flag wavers. As proof that Disney can do something right in the midst of a series of horrible mistakes, I present the Paul McKenna Band. This accoustic quartet plays in the streets of the UK during the day. Their normal set consists of two instrumentals (traditional Scottish reels, strathspeys and the like) alternating with two songs. I heard them three times in October and will go back for more. I even dragged @gary over for a set, and he approved. Check them out the next time you're in Epcot. Happy Hogmanay!
There was a lot of furor last fall over the mass layoff's of Epcot entertainers. Does anyone remember the minor ruckus when the British Revolution replaced the British Invasion? Revolutionary
There's a new band in town: Quickstep has replaced the Paul McKenna Band as the UK buskers for 2016. Celtic
A slightly different lineup for Quickstep in May. I think this is the regular group, and the one I saw in February (above) had a sub. Catch Them While You Can
Since this has some of the UK in it I will drop it here The Edge of World Showcase Lagoon by John Wolff, on Flickr
Hey kids, want to know what these things are? Ask your grandparents. Will the Real Pay Phone Please Stand Up?
Something's terribly wrong. Captain Hook should be confined to Neverland, shouldn't he? Always Look Up
