I thought I would start another Expedition Everest thread (after all, it is WDW's latest and greatest, and its been awhile since we discussed this), so here's my mini-essay... [br] [br] Welcome to Nepal... [br] [br] Everest itself, near our base camp... [br] [br] Disney's famous attention to detail. I heard that the locals put red paint on these carved statues for luck - or was it to ward away Yeti... [br] [br] More details. Stone tablets... [br] [br] Going up the ramp... [br] [br] Really going up the ramp... [br] [br] Imagine that, the track broke... [br] [br] An angry Yeti... [br] [br] What its all about. I love taking photos like this and looking at all the different expressions on peoples' faces... [br] [br] Peaceful night scene...
Great shots! You inspired me when I was at AK last weekend. Hope you don't mind me tacking on to your essay.
Do you mean my night shot, Barrie? If so, that was taken using a tripod (of course). 15 second exposure on a very calm night.
