FiFi is the last remaining B-29 that can still fly. ; Didn't find out that she was in town until *after* the tour weekend; saw it on the tarmac on Monday when I was flying back to Austin after a day trip for work. ; So I went out on Tuesday to get pics of her taking off to go south for her last week before winter maintenance.

While I was there, tried to practice panning as well:

This is the B-24A that was with FiFi. ; She did two takeoff and landings before they both left Austin. ; 1/200s, f/9, ISO 100, 600mm (900mm equiv), handheld

Nice ones Roger. ; I really need to get out to an airshow with some good WWII warbirds next year!

Good to see the old girl flying again. ; I saw her many years ago at a Confederate Air Force show in Columbus, IN. ; Very impressive!

Great stuff. ; I need to catch an air show myself, that I am not working at. ; John, there is the Atlantic City Air Show on the beach in August every year. ; That is the one that I used to work.
